High School Athletes: Physicals for winter/spring sports will be available at the Orthopaedic Institute of Western Kentucky, 200 Clint Hill Blvd. on Tuesday, October 10 from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM.


Cross Country is ranked to finish in the top teams of Class 2A this year!

10/28 - State Meet at Lexington Horse Park - Boys Varsity at 12:30 PM



We would like to welcome PTHS Student Advocate Tim Meadows! Mr. Meadows is a familiar face at PTHS that has taken on this new role. He is available to help students and parents address academic, educational, or personal needs and make referrals as appropriate. See the flyer for more info.


Today Coach Adams' health students learned how to perform Hands-Only CPR and First Aid techniques from a variety of local nurses, EMTs and firefighters. We appreciate our wonderful volunteers for their help in making our lessons come alive!





Fall Break for Paducah Public Schools will begin Monday, October 2 and continue through Monday, October 9. We hope you enjoy a peaceful and relaxing Fall Break!

First time in history that Paducah Head Start has represented at a chess tournament! Paducah Middle placed 1st place as a team, PTHS 3rd as a team, & Goodyke gets Greatest Upset for K12 with a 650 point difference!







Trevor Montgomery and Alec Coffie were named PTHS Homecoming King and Queen at the PTHS vs. Allen County-Scottsville football game. Congratulations!

It was a beautiful day for House Day at Paducah Middle! Thanks to all the good vibes from the houses of Reveur (Dreamers), Altruismo (Givers), Isibindi (Courage), and Amistad (Friendship)!

Paducah Tilghman junior Bryleigh Heal has been selected to serve as Student Board Representative with the Paducah Board of Education for the 23-24 school year.
As student board representative, Bryleigh will serve as student advisor to the Paducah Board of Education and provide input from a student’s perspective on all board-related agenda and board meeting topics.


PT's Triple Event- Back to School Night, Jazz on the Lawn, & College Expo- were a great occasion to welcome the new school year and get some solid info to help our students succeed. From A Different Sound's performance to Big Ed's Catering to all the Admissions reps and alumni to manned the tables at the Expo, thank you!

At last night's meeting of the Paducah Board of Education we were treated to an informative presentation by Paducah Middle students about how three programs: PBIS,Leader In Me, and the Ron Clark Academy House System, are being designed to work together to improve student culture and decrease student referrals. We appreciate Lilith Hebert (6), Taemin Housman (8), Izabella O’Brien (7) Tavorion Starks (6),and Sophia Panor (8) for the presentation!








The PTHS Back-to-School Night on Tuesday, September 19 will feature the following: Back-to-School Open House inside Paducah Tilghman High School. Jazz on the Lawn which will provide free food and entertainment on the lawn. Regional College Expo in the gym so families can start planning for the future. All of these events will run from 5:00 - 7:00 PM. All events are free and open to the public. NOTE: We ask that any K-8 students that come be accompanied by an adult at all times.
