The purchasing of technology in Paducah Independent Schools is constrained by specific rules and procedures. There are two rules that have the most impact. 

First, if a type of technology (i.e. computer, laser printer, etc.) has a KETS contract established, then schools and districts MUST purchase that technology off of the KETS contract, REGARDLESS of funding source. The current KETS contracts can always be found at:

Second, all technology purchases MUST have prior approval from the Director of Technology or their designee.
