Asher Griffith, Jane Taylor, and Cameron Wright are PTHS Rotary Students of the Month for April 2024. The Rotary Club of Paducah invites seniors from area high schools to the club's weekly meetings. Students are selected monthly and attend each meeting during that month where they will be given time to introduce themselves to the group.
Asher is Concert Master of the PTHS orchestra and Field Commander of the PTHS Band of Blue. He is a two-season member of the MSU Chamber Orchestra. He is an AP Scholar and a three-time all-district band member. Asher plans to attend the University of Louisville with the goal of performing with an orchestra and teaching violin. His mother is Amy Kilpatrick.
Jane is a member of the Paducah Chamber of Commerce Youth LEAD class #12. She is co-president of the the Paducah Tilghman Pep Club. She is a member of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes, PTHS Student Council, and Interact Club. She is a member of the youth group at Grace Episcopal Church. Jane plans to attend the University of Louisville and major in Economics and Biology. Her parents are Michael and Laura Taylor.
Cameron is a member of the PTHS National Honor Society, Beta Club, FBLA and Pep Club. He was awarded third place overall at the Murray State University Math Day. He is captain of the PTHS Men’s Tennis team and a three-year member of the of the PTHS basketball team. Cameron plans to attend Murray State University and pursue a pre-law degree. His parents are Wendell and Jacque Wright.
