Do you have kids that need sports physicals for the upcoming school year? In preparation for the 2024-25 school year, Baptist Health Urgent Cares and many Baptist Health Medical Group Primary Care practices are offering sports physicals for your child for $35. This offer is valid May 1 to August 31. Physicals will be billed to insurance.

Mindful Soul Day is a free community health and wellness event for all ages infused with music, food, entertainment, art, yoga, vendors, panel discussions, and more! We were excited to host a talented group of rising 9th graders at the Paducah Innovation Hub for the first-ever CTE (Career & Technical Education) Summer Academy. Attending students had an opportunity to discover Paducah Area Technical Center pathways in Carpentry, Welding, and Health Occupations. Paducah Tilghman Track & Field posted some strong finishes at the 2A Track & Field State Championships held at the University of Kentucky on May 31. For the Boys team, Kylen Ware was 6th in the 200 meter dash and 3rd in the 400 meter dash. Liam Black finished 7th in the 1500 meter run. Relay teams were 4th in the 4 X 100, 4th in the 4 X 200, and 8th in the 4 X 400. Nicholas Fox was 6th in the Shot Put. The Boys team finished 7th overall in the meet. For the Girls team, Jasline English was 4th in the 100 meter dash. The 4 X 100 Girls relay team finished 4th. The Girls team was 17th overall. Paducah Innovation Hub principal Steve Ybarzabal presented the creative strategies being used at the Paducah Innovation Hub at "Pathways to Progress: Workforce Strategies for Kentucky's Emerging Adults". The seminar was hosted by the Louisville Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. Thanks for representing the Paducah Innovation Hub, Mr. Ybarzabal!
