Paducah Storm Watch Step Teams have been given a unique opportunity to participate in the Derby City National Step Show on April 19 in Louisville, KY. Paducah Public Schools will be represented in the elementary school division by Tornado FUSION, which is composed of members from Clark (ELITE), McNabb (MAGIC) and Morgan (UNITE). Hands of Hope, a local non-profit foundation, has partnered with Paducah Tilghman High School to create a new program called “Road to Excellence”. The purpose of the "Road to Excellence" is to take things back to basics focusing on being present at school, building camaraderie between fellow students, zero tolerance for bullying, and keeping a clear channel of communication between teachers and students.
Since the program began in November of 2024 PTHS has had a near record increase in attendance.
Students will be entered for the chance to win a car at the end of the school year based on their attendance, behavior, and academics!
Hands of Hope has a fundraising goal of $7,000. If you would like to contribute, you can do so at the Road to Excellence GoFundMe- https://bit.ly/4i6esSe
