Good evening, Paducah Public School families. We plan to see your student in school tomorrow (Friday, January 19)! There is a slight chance of precipitation overnight that could impact morning travel. We will notify you if there is a change to the regular school day schedule.
Hey, Tornado Family!
Here is a reminder about the plan of action that we follow when we have winter weather.

Congratulations to Elena Adkins, Ben Coltharp, Jacob Julian, and Henry Stratemeyer for placing at the President's Cup academic competition on January 12. Elena placed in Social Studies and Language Arts. Ben placed in Math. Jacob placed in Science. Henry placed in Arts and Humanities. Way to go, A-Team!

Paducah Public School families,
Putting staff and student safety first, the district will be using non-traditional instruction (NTI) tomorrow, January 18th. Some side road conditions along bus routes are still unsafe. In addition, the National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory forecasting freezing rain for tomorrow at 10 am that could make midday and afternoon travel hazardous for buses, students and staff.
Your student’s school has shared expectations for NTI days. School leaders will send reminders, as well.
The last two snow days and tomorrow’s NTI day do not impact the board-approved school calendar this year. The last day for students is still Wednesday, May 22nd, as scheduled.
