PTHS NJROTC ensign Clare Shirk was selected to attend the US Naval Academy Summer Seminar this June.
" It is indeed an honor for Clare to be selected for one of the treasured spots to
attend the United States Naval Academy Summer Seminar," said NJROTC Commander Daniel Outcalt. "This Seminar is the first step for Clare in navigating her future as an Officer in the United States Navy."
The USNA Summer Seminar introduces participants to life at the Naval Academy, where they experience first-class academic, athletic, and professional training. The Summer Seminar has a strong academic focus, and introduces participants to topics such as Naval Architecture, Systems Engineering, and Oceanography.
