Students at Paducah Tilghman High School have earned a total of 26 AP Scholar Awards in recognition of their exceptional achievement on Advanced Placement Exams for the 2020-2021 school year.
The AP Program recognizes high school students who have demonstrated outstanding college-level achievement through AP courses and exams with the AP Scholar Awards. The College Board recognizes several levels of achievement based on students' performance on AP exams.
Four students were granted the AP Scholar with Distinction Award by earning an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams. The AP Scholars with Distinction are senior Paige Kight and recent graduates Sam Kirchhoff, Jenna Price, and Mason Romanak.
Two students were granted the AP Scholar with Honor Award by earning an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams. AP Scholars with Honor are senior Kate LeBuhn and junior Jose Leonardo dos Remedios.
Twenty students were granted the AP Scholar Award by earning a score of 3 or higher on 3 or more AP exams. The AP Scholars are seniors Nathan Barnes, Renee Chua, Cameron Dorris, Kennedy Garatt, Gage Gottman, Frances Hideg, Lillian Holm, Alex Roof; juniors Brooke Larimer and Abigail Wurth; and recent graduates Raven Butler, Daniel Garcia, Emma Gilbert, Kindle Knight, Natalie Lansden, Ben LeBuhn, Grainger Page, Madeline Strenge, Jake Taylor, and Zach Ybarzabal.
