Paducah Tilghman senior Morgan Jackson committed to play football at Greenville University in a signing ceremony held at Paducah Tilghman High School on March 28.
Jackson played defensive end and fullback for a Tornado team that made its mark in the record books, capping an undefeated season with a Class 4A State Championship in 2024.
“Morgan is the most humble and easy-going kid I know,” said PTHS Head Football Coach Sean Thompson. “Morgan was asked for four years to play out of position and do something for a team that was bigger than himself…Morgan was a big enough man to put how he felt aside and do what the team needed him to do for the team to be successful. And in the end, he was successful. He’s signing today to play running back, which is his true position, at the college level, which is crazy. That speaks to how good of a player, how athletic he is, and the work that he’s put in to have the opportunity to go do that.”
“I want to thank you all for coming out,” said Jackson. “You all are my biggest family. I want to that my teammates and my coaches. You all put me right here. I love you all.”
