Congratulations to PTHS juniors Christian Anderson, Audrey Davis, Eliza Esper, Bailey Faulkner, Nathan Franklin, Angelique Hernandez, Landon Hinz, Lucy LeBuhn, Nicholas Nyberg, Jackson Ramer, Ava Russell, and Naarah White who have been selected to participate in the 2024-2025 Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce Youth LEAD Class #14.
Thirty-six students from area schools were chosen for Class #14 of Youth LEAD. Students are from Community Christian Academy, McCracken County High School, Paducah Tilghman High School, and St. Mary High School.
The Youth LEAD program is designed to develop and prepare students for future community support and leadership roles in Paducah/McCracken County. Youth LEAD targets high school juniors in Paducah and McCracken County public, private and home‐school systems. The selected students spend one day each month for six months learning about human needs and service learning, communication and career development, business and economy, law and government, and healthcare in Paducah and McCracken County.
The selection process includes leadership potential/skills, school activities, community and diversity among schools, ethnicity and gender.
