Eighth grade parents and students, please join us at the PTHS Auditorium on Tuesday, March 14 at 6:00 PM for 8th Grade Transition Night. Auditorium doors open at 5:45.
You will have the opportunity to learn about your 9th grade schedule, meet your teachers, and explore career pathways, clubs and activities.
There will be an AP information session prior to the event at 5:30 PM in the PT Library. There will be a greeter at the auditorium entrance to let parents in for the AP session.

There will be a Winter Sports end-of-year banquet for Paducah Middle School Girls Basketball, Boys Basketball, Wrestling and Cheerleaders on Thursday, March 2nd at 6:00 PM at the Paducah Middle School Cafeteria.
Coach Hamilton requests the help of parent volunteers to help decorate and also clean up after the event. Volunteers for decorating should be present at 4:00 PM on March 2.

The group will be traveling to Cincinnati February 22-25 for the honor choir rehearsal and performance.
The National Association of School Resource Officers (NASRO) has declared February 15th as School Resource Officer Appreciation Day.

Our Family Resource Youth Services (FRYSC) directors and support staff gathered at the Hub today for an appreciation luncheon held in their honor. Family Resource and Youth Services Centers remove the non-academic barriers to student achievement, bridge the gaps the needed resources, and collaborate the resources of schools and communities for the success of students, families and communities. The Paducah African American Leadership Club will host a Black History Presentation on Friday, February 24, 5:30 PM at the Paducah Tilghman High School Auditorium. Admission is $5.00. There will be a Soul Food Dinner Plate option available for an additional $5.00.

Paducah Middle 8th Grade parents, the informational session on selecting classes for 9th grade that was scheduled for Thursday, February 2, 2023 at 5:30 PM in the Paducah Middle School Cafeteria has been postponed and will be rescheduled at a later date.
Paducah Public Schools will be closed on Thursday, February 2. There will be no in-person instruction; it will be an NTI Day. While schools will be closed, students are expected to follow their school's NTI Day plan and complete their assignments as provided to them by their teachers. All activities and practices for Paducah Public Schools that are scheduled for 4:30 PM or later today have been canceled due to potential icy weather.
A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for southern portions of the Quad State from 3:00 PM this afternoon through 9:00 AM Tuesday. The primary concern will be icing due to freezing rain and the resultant travel problems.
