The PTHS Student Equity Advisory Council invites all parents of PPS students to join us for a student-led Parent Forum Tuesday, December 5, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The forum will be at the Murray State University Paducah Extension at 4430 Sunset Avenue.

Good news for families: Kentucky's Summer P-EBT plan is approved, and benefits will be issued on or around Nov. 15. Total reimbursement is $120 per eligible student. Enrollment in Summer P-EBT is automatic for public and private school students. Federal law prohibits homeschool students, virtual students and children not enrolled in school from receiving Summer P-EBT. For more information about Summer P-EBT, call 1-833-501-5297.

McNabb Elementary was well represented this morning at the Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce Power in Partnership Breakfast. Area schools had displays and were featured as part of the Chamber’s annual “Salute to Education.” The speaker was Seema Sheth, Senior VP and Regional Executive of the Louisville Branch of Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis.

Come join Clark Elementary School at our inaugural "Fight the Fight" 5K and 1 Mile Family Fun Run. Each participant will receive a long sleeve dry-fit shirt if registered by 10/22/23. All youth participants participating in the 1 mile run will receive a finishers medal. This race will be an opportunity to bring our school and community together for a common cause as we raise money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
