We want to let you know that start and end times for some of our schools will change in the 2023-24 school year. We believe these changes will contribute to the well-being of our students and help our bus routes move more efficiently.
The longer school day at Paducah Middle School will allow us to offer seven academic periods instead of six. This will help prepare our students for high school. It will also allow additional elective opportunities so students who want to take band, choir and orchestra will be able to take all three classes.
We understand that even small changes to our school schedules deeply impact our community and particularly our families who are juggling multiple work, school and family members’ schedules. We’re grateful for your patience as we implement these schedule changes.
Look for more details from your school principal before school starts. We look forward to seeing you August 9!

The PTHS Tornado Boys Basketball Team will host their annual summer basketball camp from Tuesday, May 30th through Thursday, June 01. The camp is for any boy grades 2nd - 7th.The camp will begin at 8:30 a.m. and end at 10:00 a.m. for 2 - 4. The camp will begin at 10:00 a.m. and end at 11:30 a.m. for grades 5 - 7. The cost for camp this year is $25. Registration will be at the door on May 30.


The Lady Tornado Basketball Team will host their annual summer basketball camp from Tuesday, May 30th through Thursday, June 01. The camp is for any girl grades K-8th.The camp will begin at 9:00 a.m. and end at 12:00 p.m. The cost for camp this year is $30. This morning we had two drawings to spotlight our amazing students.
First we had 2 bicycles & helmets donated by Bike World & the Kiwanis club of Paducah for the Read to Ride program. One student is selected from K-2 & one from grades 3-5.
Congratulations 3rd grader Gavin Swanigan & 1st grader TyLeiyah Leflore.
Plain City Lodge & Walmart donated two bicycles for Attendance & grades.
The winners are 2nd grader ZaDen Thompson & kindergartner Rylee Gladman!

Classrooms are getting treats once all books & fines are paid.
There are also other "lost" books from previous years so please check your shelves at home.
