All Paducah Public Schools and Paducah Head Start Preschool will be closed for students Monday, November 7, due to a high rate of influenza cases among students and staff. There will be no athletic events or extracurricular activities on Monday, November 7.
Staff will report to their buildings on Monday, November 7 for professional development.
There will be no school on Tuesday, November 8, in observance of Election Day. Classes will resume on Wednesday, November 9.

Mrs. Purvis’s fourth grade Language Art classes have been working super hard on “My Pumpkin Book Character Writing.” Students have been learning about character traits and opinion writing. Students were able to work together in groups to read a book, determine character traits, and to write an opinion piece on if they liked their character. After all of their hard work they were able to transform a pumpkin into that character.
Our 1st graders created Creepy Carrots after reading Aaron Reynold’s classic “Creepy Carrots” now they are hiding all over the building.
