Stephani Gray was introduced as Paducah Tilghman girls basketball head coach at a press conference held at PTHS on April 26.

Gray played high school basketball, softball and ran track at Mayfield High School. She was a two year starter at Mayfield, averaging 25 points and six rebounds per game. She is the sixth leading scorer in the school’s history. She was named honorable mention all-state, all-region, and all-district while playing for the Cardinals. She was named to the Paducah Sun All Purchase Team. She earned a scholarship at Murray State University and played college basketball for the Lady Racers for four years.

During her 20-year tenure as a teacher for Paducah Public Schools, Gray has coached Little League, Middle School, and High School girls basketball.

“It means the world to me to be the girls head basketball coach at Paducah Tilghman,” said Gray. “I am beyond grateful to our athletic department for giving me the opportunity to show what I can do with this team on the court.”
