Paducah Middle was well represented this morning at the Paducah Area Chamber of Commerce Power in Partnership Breakfast. Area schools had displays and were featured as part of the Chamber’s annual “Salute to Education.” The speaker was Seema Sheth, Senior VP and Regional Executive of the Louisville Branch of Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis.

This was a great week for Paducah Middle playoff football. 8th grade defeated Browning Springs Thursday night, 7th grade defeated Bullitt East on the road on Saturday, and 6th grade defeated McCracken on the road Saturday night. Below is the playoff schedule for the coming week:

Paducah Middle 7th Football will play Bullitt East @ Bullitt East High School on Saturday October 21 at 2:00PM Eastern Time. Tickets for Adults $6.00, Students $3.00.
Paducah Middle 8th Football plays Browning Springs at Paducah Middle School on Thursday, October 19 at 7:00 PM in a middle school football playoff game. Tickets for Adults are $6.00, Students are $3.00 cash. Student and faculty passes will not be accepted at this game since it is a playoff game and we have to share revenues.
Thursday Paducah Middle will also host a school fundraiser chili supper for $10 per plate. The Paducah Middle Jazz Band will entertain guests from 6PM-7PM.
Paducah Middle sixth grader Emory Masthay competed in the Eagle Class cross-country meet at Graves County High School. She finished 11th, running the 4K course in 20.20.13. Way to go, Emory!
Come join Clark Elementary School at our inaugural "Fight the Fight" 5K and 1 Mile Family Fun Run. Each participant will receive a long sleeve dry-fit shirt if registered by 10/22/23. All youth participants participating in the 1 mile run will receive a finishers medal. This race will be an opportunity to bring our school and community together for a common cause as we raise money for St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. We were happy to honor our Paducah Middle 8th graders who participated in golf and cross-country this season. Theo Durfee, Kolton Houser, Jackson Lee, Charlie Wolfrom and Axl Young ran cross-country. Ford Black and Evan Hack were members of the golf team. We appreciate all your accomplishments in golf and cross country, and look forward to your continued growth in athletics and in the classroom!
