
Giving back to the community — that's the goal for a group of Paducah Innovation hub students. The Hub's carpentry workshop class includes a mix of home schooled students and students from Paducah Tilghman High School and McCracken County High School. The group built blessing boxes for people who might need a little extra help.

Murray State University School of Engineering hosted approximately 500 students across 14 high schools on Thursday, March 2 for Engineering Day 2023. Nineteen students from Paducah Tilghman took part in the competition.
The competition was a series of science, technology, engineering and math-centered challenges designed to teach engineering and construction concepts under the direction of Murray State faculty and staff.
Students competed in fifteen events across campus, including kayak construction, survival structure building, engineering design, and a CO2 car race.
Bennett Wilke and Brooke Larimer won first and third in the C02 car competition.

During the week of November 7-11, 2022, schools are celebrating National School Psychology Week to highlight the important work school psychologists do to help students thrive. We're grateful for Ms. Lewis and Ms. Seig and their work on behalf of our students!


We'll have a Christmas tree in the lobby of the Paducah Innovation Hub to enjoy when students return Wednesday! We're grateful for Danny and Janice Howard, who furnished the tree, and to students from the Paducah Tilghman Pep Club & Interact Club who helped install and decorate the tree including Kiersa Atnip, Riley Darnell, Thaniel Skinner, and Peyton Toon.




Students from the Paducah Area Technical Center helped introduce area 8th grade students to career options at WKY Launch Experience at the Paducah Expo Center on October 26.
WKY Launch Experience is a career exploration expo for eighth grade students in all schools in Paducah/McCracken County school systems. More than 800 students participated and were introduced to local career options they may not be aware of in an effort to strengthen the local workforce of the future.
