Two years ago, WKCTC received a very generous gift from philanthropist MacKenzie Scott, with a focus on enhancing diversity, equity, and inclusion at our college and in our communities. In April of 2021, The WKCTC Guarantee was established, which provided direct financial support and scholarship allotment to organizations working to increase educational opportunities for minority populations, low-income individuals, and others who have faced barriers to education, and to enhance collaborations with community organizations who serve vulnerable populations. As part of The WKCTC Guarantee initiative, additional Community Connections Service Awards will be presented to selected organizations on the two year anniversary of the original gift.
